Ghetto Cowboy “This Ghetto Cowboy album has been the most gratifying to me as an artist being that it’s my first indie release on my own label,” he said in a press release. “I have no one to answer to and that can be a scary responsibility.” Last time HipHopDX spoke with Yelawolf, it was around the fairly turbulent rollout for Love Story. From troubling interviews with Highly Questionable to social media posts defending his love of the Confederate Flag, those moments all overshadowed his second major-label studio album Love Story. Since then, he’s released several projects, including Trial By Fire and 2019’s Trunk Muzik 3, before departing from Shady Records and parent label Interscope. Catching up with Catfish Billy before entering the next decade at Downtown Los Angeles venue 1720, he’s touring in promotion of Ghetto Cowboy — his first album solely under the Slumerican label. This time around, Yela seems to have found clarity past the dark moments of his career nearly five years ago. Ghetto Cowboy will be Yelawolf’s second LP of 2019. In March, he concluded his run on Shady with the third entry in his Trunk Muzik series. “After Love Story, Trial By Fire and then Trunk Muzik 3, I feel like I got a well-rounded project that speaks to all the fans; Hip Hop, rock’n’roll, and southern fans alike,” the veteran artist stated. “I ain’t reinventing the wheel here, just doing what I love to do, doing what I think is dope and original. I never want to stop challenging the genre or the listener or become complacent or settled cause that’s boring as fuck to me and the fans. G.C. is unapologetic, brutally honest and at times completely vulnerable.” With the line to the entrance growing nearly out of control, obviously his fans have become as dedicated as ever. Before the doors to show opened, Yela took time to speak with DX about the new album, lessons learned from Eminem in running Slumerican, touring, Hick Hop and how the controversy around the Confederate Flag hurt any chances of his Big K.R.I.T. collaborative project Country Cousins. Yelawolf is finishing off October with another album. The Slumerican MC has reported Ghetto Cowboy, his first LP since leaving Shady Records, is planned to drop on Halloween (October 31). "This Ghetto Cowboy album has been the most satisfying to me as a craftsman being that it's my first independent discharge without anyone else name," he said in an official statement. "I have nobody to reply to and that can be a startling responsibility."Leak ZIP, Ghetto Cowboy is the sixth studio album by American rapper Yelawolf, set to be released on November 1, 2019.[1] It is his second independent studio album, after his 2005 debut Creekwater, and his first since departing from Eminem's imprint Shady Records, and its parent label, Interscope Records, following the release of Trunk Muzik 3 earlier in the year.[2] The album's title is a homage to the 1998 hit single of the same name by the hip hop collective Mo Thugs. Sessions for the album began Blackbird Studios (the same studio where Yelawolf recorded his Gold-certified record, Love Story, in 2015), shortly after the release of Yelawolf's fifth album.[3] Production was handled by long-time collaborators Jim Jonsin, DJ Klever, DJ Paul, and Brian Jones, who worked on several tracks for Yelawolf's weekly freestyle series leading up to the release of Trunk Muzik 3. This also marks the first time Yelawolf released two studio albums in the same year (along with Trunk Muzik 3), and the first time one of his studio albums is solely released by Slumerican Records, an extension of his lifestyle and culture brand with retail headquarters based in Nashville, TN.[4] The album was supported by the singles "Unnatural Born Killer", released on August 9, 2019,[5] and "Opie Taylor", set to be released on October 11, 2019.
  2. Leak Zip !! Alter Bridge - Walk The Sky Mp3 Album Download Alter Bridge has been a band known for blurring the line between hard rock and heavy metal. The fourteen-track opus marks a creative highpoint for the quartet comprised of Myles Kennedy on vocals/guitars, Mark Tremonti on guitars/vocals, Brian Marshall on bass and Scott Phillips on drums. Walk The Sky is a complete career retrospective drawing upon elements from each of the band’s previous releases to create something new from the band. These were then moulded into shape by the duo along with bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips.” The hard-rock band’s new LP, due October 18th, will contain a total of 14 tracks. This time around, singer Myles Kennedy and guitarist Mark Tremonti wrote full songs together, as opposed to past albums where each brought ideas and riffs individually. The new tracks were then fleshed out with bassist Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips in the studio. Alter Bridge will transition back into focus this fall, as the band has announced an Oct. 18 street date for their sixth studio album, Walk the Sky. For over 15 years, This varies from the band’s previous method going back to their sophomore release Blackbird where Kennedy and Tremonti would combine individual ideas and riffs alongside producer Michael “Elvis” Baskette to form some of the band’s most revered songs. From the opening vocal melody on “One Life” to the moving finale of “Dying Light,” Alter Bridge have created a formidable addition to their music catalog. Songs like “God Speed,” “Native Son” and “Walking On The Sky” are sure to be early additions to the live set. The first single “Wouldn’t You Rather” is quintessential Alter Bridge and “Forever Falling” also marks a lead vocal return from Tremonti with Kennedy taking the chorus as done previously on the Fortress favorite “Waters Rising.” Alter Bridge will be heading out on a worldwide tour beginning in September in the United States before heading over to Europe to close out 2019.
